In Mysore, where residential design often blends functionality with aesthetics, the Ronak Residence redefines architectural norms with its bold, monolithic concept. The design plays with perceptions of scale, making the 4,500 sq ft structure appear larger than life on a compact 40x60 ft plot. Anchored by two monumental cubes, the brick-clad facade transitions from heavy solidity to a translucent interplay of light, creating a visual language of strength and elegance.
Inside, the focus shifts to the central courtyard, a serene core that brings in light and ventilation without relying on traditional windows. This central feature not only floods the interior with light and air but also serves as a dynamic space where the boundaries between enclosure and openness blur. The Ronak Residence is a masterful balance of contrasting elements, offering a private retreat that feels expansive yet intimate.
